[SoF] [Should We? [Could We?]
Soldier of Fortune
September 1991
Soldier of Fortune, CO. 1991. Like new.
Easily the most iconic cover among these, I don't totally understand why SoF hated Saddam so much. I go with my former Professor Brian Ferguson's theory that "He like to talk shit and didn't think anyone would do anything." Classic. Some of the pieces include:
"Brutality Reality" (Wa wa boo boo whiny piece about the dangers of documenting police brutality.)
"Fine Art of Looting" (A strange piece from the magazine's owner on looting your enemy.)
"Assassination: Could we Have Hit Saddam?" (Spoiler, we didn't.)
"War at the Top of the World" (Vertigo inducing piece on war in the Karakorum mountain range.)
A good issue that showcases SoF's strange hypocrisy when it comes to authority.
