I am sorry that you probably don’t live here. New Mexico is the most beautiful place in the lower 48 and as strange and enchanting a land as one could ever hope for. It’s no surprise that both Taos and Santa Fe saw the flourishing of writer’s colonies in the lead up to WW2, and this book tells that enchanted tale. An awesome mix of historiography, art criticism, and writers gossip awaits. Truly a lovely book.
