New Aeon Magick: Thelema Without Tears
Gerald Del Campo
Llewellyn, MN. 1994. First edition paperback. Like new.
From the publisher:
"Finally, a basic yet comprehensive methodology of Aleister Crowley's Thelemic principles, with easy-to-follow instructions for achieving the specific states of consciousness desirable in spiritual pursuits. Written to clarify the oftentimes obscure esoteric terminology and references which muddy the text of many books on ceremonial magic. More than a mere transcription; provides a solid base for the occultist's magical workings."
Kind of a goofy descriptor, but accurate. People really are scared to even comprehend what magickal practice could look like in their lives. Think about it - how many people do you know who have actually opened a grimoire and tried to read it? Not many I bet. Why? Cowardice, etc.
This book offers a rock solid foundation to building up your own spiritual practice. Think of it as the clifnotes of Book 4, if you're going that hard.
