Peter Mark Adams is a fantastic esoteric research. While his tarot deep dive The Game of Saturn remains my favorite, this one is an utterly fascinating account of architecture being used to transmit esoteric doctrine. This book is worth it alone for the imagery; the various scorpion and cyclops bookmatched marble slabs are unbearably haunting. Something is up at Hagia Sophia....and Adams knows. Highly recommended.
