El Zine is an awesome document of the Japanese punk scene. Both of these issues were purchased last year, in Japan. Issue 59 focuses on "Punk T-Shirts: The International Collection" and includes a jawdropping multipage spread of shirts you never knew existed. Issue 61 focuses on "Chiba Trash Punk", particularly the bands Visible Fucker and Stinkers. Each issue is fully illustrated, full of the quirky kind of articles one expects from Japanese magazines. Real otaku hours; just load up google translate and have a good time. If anything, the imagery alone is worth it.
