Dust jacket has some wear; chipping on edges and spine; some yellowing to the text block, otherwise remarkably well preserved. Good.
Babi Yar was one of the largest mass executions of World War 2, in which Nazi Germany massacred approximately 34,000 Ukrainian Jews in the mountainous ravine of Babi Yar. Kuznetsov’s work is a masterpiece of post-WW2 literature, recounting the lead up, execution, and aftermath of the massacre. Censored in its original form, this FSG edition was the first “complete” edition available and stands shoulder to shoulder with the great memoirs to come out of the darkest time in modern history.
